What's The Hold Up?

Mr. Gilbert and I are working on a few little surprises. Hopefully we will be able to fill the Somerset Productions productive emptiness that has been affecting us for the past few months...

About Somerset Productions

Somerset Productions: Formed in 2003 by writer Michael Humble and designer Patrick Gilbert, Somerset Productions was initially conceived as a comic book production company to support their first project "The Gloaming". In 2007, they branched into film with their first short film "About The Girl". Produced with director Kevin Hoffman and cinematographer Ed Regan, the film went on to win a handful of awards and received nationwide attention. Subsequent efforts, including "The Lake", have gone on to even greater acclaim reaching international audiences and exposure. While film making remains a priority, Michael is also working on the final edits to a novel and has a number of other projects in various stages of completion. The Story-A-Day Project represents Michael's ambitious effort to post a photo and story every day over a one-year period.
